California No Bust utilizes multiple decks at once. One of the two Jokers should be removed from each deck in Play, for a total of 53 cards. Rather than the Standard 52-card deck, the game utilizes the 54-card Joker variant of the Anglo-American deck. Moreover the Bust it! side bet may pay off according to the number of cards the dealer busts with. California No Bust Blackjack uses a non-standard deck. There is an additional payoff if the dealer has an eight in the hand and gets another eight of the same color or suit and busts.
